- Motor, Spartan Motor Mount, the main Traveler, and the Mast
resting on the stern.

- The manufacture on the door cover is:

Lazarette opened
-
- Shows the pan assembly. It follows the curve of the bottom
of the stern, but rides off the hull by about 1 to 2 inches.
-
- The cover has two small drain areas near the front just visible.
They allow the water that gets into the seal area to drain out.
-
- Usually it doesn't because there is not enough of an angle
on the cover for drainage.
-
- There is also a rubber gasket attached to the cover that
allows for a watertight seal. It is like a big O-ring that goes
around the entire cover.

- Interior from Port Berth
-
- Shows the Stern Cross Member support. Behind this is the
Lazarette Pan assembly. The hose you see is from the Bilge pump.
It empties into the Lazarette Pan as shown below.
-
- At the extreme left just visible is the Rudder Shaft Support
tube. This tube holds the Stainless Rudder shaft and goes from
the exterior of the hull near the upper rudder mount, to the
top of the cockpit top near the Lazarette.

-
- Additional shots of the Lazarette drain hose connected to
the lower portion of the Lazarette Pan. You can also see the
hose from the Bilge pump heading to the Lazarette Pan where it
empties.
-
- Again, the Rudder Shaft Support Tube. Here you can just see
how it is glassed to the rear of the cockpit liner for strength.

- Lazarette Interior from Lazarette
-
- Here you can see the Bilge pump hose where it exits the rear
of the bilge up into the Lazarette Pan for drainage through the
Lazarette drain to the cockpit floor.
-
-
- You can also see the wiring for the Bilge Pump. There is
a shelf just visible to the left for battery/fuel storage.
-
- You can also see again, the Rudder shaft support Tube where
it stops short of the deck. This is probably done to give the
tube and shaft room to expand and contract, and allows for minimal
stress points on the deck and tube.
